W.Va. airport set to begin $8.3M expansion project

Raleigh County Memorial Airport in Beaver, W.Va., has secured funding and will begin taking construction bids for an $8.3 million expansion project that will enable a number of aviation manufacturing companies to take up residence and potentially generate more than 600 jobs. The airport also plans to add 2,000 feet to the runway.
