Wall Street Hotel embraces history of Financial District

The Paspaley family of Australia is opening the 180-room high-end Wall Street Hotel in Lower Manhattan to reflect the financial history of the area — known as the Financial District as well as the oyster trade that predated it. The family, which aren’t hoteliers but in the pearl jewelry business, is also including notes of pearls and oysters throughout.
