This week’s travel tech roundup features executive changes, strategic partnerships, and product launches from key players across the industry.
DerbySoft has restructured its leadership, merging its connectivity and marketing units into a single hospitality division. Duane Overgaard will serve as divisional CEO, Ken Nishizu as COO, and Toni Marti becomes head of marketing solutions.
Southwest Airlines has deepened its partnership with CellPoint Digital, using its payment orchestration platform to enhance Getaways by Southwest. The upgrade, launching in 2025, will enable combined payments using cards, credits, and Rapid Rewards points.
Sabre signed a new distribution deal with Vietjet Air, bringing the airline’s content into its global system. Sabre also launched British Airways’ NDC content via Sabre Red 360 and APIs.

Wego has teamed up with Waves to offer yacht bookings across the Middle East, targeting premium travelers in Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Trip.com now supports Malaysia Airlines’ MHupgrade program, allowing passengers to bid for class upgrades directly on its platform.
