What will happen when hotel-based housing ends?

Hotels have housed people experiencing homelessness during the pandemic, but as travel resumes and hotels reopen they may have nowhere to go, as shelters beds are scarce. Staffing shortages and logistics are among other challenges local officials face, and incoming federal funding may help, although programs are still being arranged.
