Wheels Up Integrates Phenom 300s from GrandView Aviation

Wheels Up, the Teterboro-based private aviation company, has recently expanded its fleet by incorporating its first seven Phenom aircraft, consisting of five Phenom 300s and two Phenom 300Es, from GrandView Aviation. This move is part of Wheels Up’s fleet modernization strategy, which was announced in late 2024 following the acquisition of GrandView Aviation’s seventeen Phenom aircraft.
The transition began with Phenom 300 N324GV (msn 50500348), marking its first flight under the Wheels Up ‘WUP’ code between Elkhart Municipal and South Bend. Additionally, Wheels Up has added N505BD (msn 50500300), a Phenom 300 previously operated privately, further enhancing its capabilities.
Wheels Up’s current Embraer Executive Jets fleet now includes nine Phenom models, with more expected to join. Seven additional Phenom 300s and three Phenom 300Es from GrandView are set to be integrated into Wheels Up’s Part 135 certified fleet, with four already operational under the ‘WUP’ code. This is a significant increase since Wheels Up previously operated only one Phenom 300 from 2018 to 2022.
The integration of the Phenom family into the Wheels Up fleet is part of a larger plan to phase out older models, including Citation XLS-family jets, Citation Jet-family aircraft, and Hawker 400XP jets, in favor of the more modern and efficient Phenom 300-family aircraft. The transition will also see the replacement of twenty-seven Citation X jets with Challenger 300s and 350s, aligning with the company’s strategy to modernize and streamline its operations. The updated fleet also includes luxury offerings such as two GIV-SPs and thirty-three King Air B300s.
