Windstar Cruises, known for its small-ship voyages, is significantly enhancing its support system for travel advisors by launching a new tool that integrates with Revelex, a leading booking engine. This collaboration marks Windstar’s first venture with a booking engine partner, positioning it to broaden its accessibility and streamline the booking process for cruise lines globally.
Revelex is renowned for its comprehensive display of available cruises from over 40 major cruise lines. The integration of Windstar Cruises into Revelex’s platform leverages the Power Agent 5 technology, which provides a global cruise API offering extensive capabilities. “Revelex’s Power Agent 5 allows travel advisor customers greater control over the booking process, offering functionalities like accessing web and private fares, searching and booking multiple cruise products, applying mark-ups and discounts through a yield management tool, and making post-booking modifications,” explained Joe Romans, Senior Vice President of Sales at Revelex.
This strategic technological enhancement is part of Windstar’s ongoing commitment to support the travel trade industry.
