Windstar Cruises is gearing up to celebrate a milestone anniversary of its partnership with the James Beard Foundation in 2025, by hosting five exclusive culinary cruises. This collaboration, which reaches its 10-year mark, highlights Windstar’s commitment as the official cruise line of the esteemed foundation, known for celebrating America’s culinary heritage and diversity.

Chris Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises, expressed excitement about the initiative, emphasizing the enriching experiences brought on board by the participating chefs over the years. “We take pride in the numerous chefs who have sailed with us, shared their stories and crafted signature dishes—enhancing the culinary experience for all of our guests on Windstar,” Prelog remarked.

In 2025, Windstar will host five distinguished chefs on its small-ship cruises, each bringing their unique flavors and culinary expertise to the high seas. The lineup includes Jamilka Borges, José Mendin, Jennifer Hill Booker, Jennifer Jasinski, and Larry Forgione, who will not only prepare special dinners but also offer cooking demonstrations and lead guests on engaging market tours during shore excursions.

The themed sailings set for 2025 are as follows:

  • A 7-day journey from Aruba to Bridgetown, “Windward Ways & Tobago Cays,” featuring chef Jamilka Borges, embarking on March 15 aboard Star Pride.
  • An 8-day “Spanish Symphony” cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona with chef José Mendin, setting sail on April 12 aboard Wind Surf.
