Work begins on Tenn. development with 2 hotels

Work on the Liberty Park development in Memphis, Tenn., starts Tuesday after the Tourism Development Zone Bonds that can be issued to fund the project were approved Monday. The project will include an 18-acre mixed-use private development with hotels, dining space and public plazas and a 227,000-square-foot Memphis Sports and Events Center, with plans for a High 5 Entertainment facility and two hotels.
