The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Washington, D.C., is embracing the work-from-home movement by converting some rooms into hybrid spaces that serve as offices by day and sleeping quarters by night. MOBase, offered with monthly memberships, includes such features as an electric standing (or sitting) desk, a sitting area for meetings and a Murphy bed that folds into the wall.
