Wyndham Launches ‘Stay Close’ Campaign with Holiday Bonus Rewards
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched its “Stay Close” holiday campaign, encouraging travelers to enjoy family connections while having their own personal space. Targeting guests across the U.S. and Canada, the campaign humorously highlights the perks of staying at a Hotel by Wyndham during holiday gatherings.
Produced in partnership with Havas New York and Annex 88, the campaign uses a comedic lens to showcase relatable travel scenarios, such as avoiding uncomfortable pull-out couches or dodging overly enthusiastic relatives like “aunt-arazzi.” With over 9,000 properties worldwide, Wyndham makes it easy to find a nearby retreat.
Marissa Yoss, VP of Media and Brand Marketing at Wyndham, said, “The holidays can be magical, but a little personal space and a real bed make all the difference. Wherever your travels take you, a Hotel by Wyndham is likely just 10 minutes away.”
As part of the promotion, Wyndham Rewards members can earn 7,500 bonus points—enough for a free stay at thousands of Hotels by Wyndham—by booking two nights between now and January 20, 2025. Travelers can redeem this offer twice for a total of 15,000 bonus points, and stays do not need to be consecutive.
The campaign includes 6- and 15-second ads across YouTube, social media, email, and connected TV, running through the end of 2025. Wyndham’s clever approach to holiday travel ensures guests can enjoy festive family moments while retreating to their own space for rest and relaxation.
