$10B in flight vouchers have gone untouched
US airlines issued more than $10 billion vouchers for unused travel in 2020, and so far travelers are not using them, even though airlines are offering deals. Travel advisors say it might be because redeeming them can seem complicated or they don’t realize they have expiration dates or now allow transfers to another traveler.
