Black voter movements drive Senate wins for Democrats

Grassroots movements, like Black Voters Matter and New Georgia Project, helped get the Black vote out and deliver historic U.S. Senate victories for Democrats in the Georgia elections this week. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff were declared the winners in the contentious run-offs, guided by the strategy of lawyer and politician Stacey Abrams.
