A developer hopes the third time is a charm for a hotel scheduled to open on Michigan Avenue in Chicago by summer, a year after its predecessor closed because of the pandemic. The Pendry Chicago follows the Hard Rock Hotel and St. Jane Hotel in occupying the historic Carbide & Carbon Building.
