Federal aid provides relief for US airline employees

Southwest Airlines announced it will not be forced to implement furloughs or pay cuts and American and United are bringing back furloughed employees after President Trump signed COVID-19 relief legislation that includes $15 billion to support aviation salaries. The package “will provide much-needed, comprehensive relief for our country,” said Nicholas Calio, president and CEO of Airlines for America.
