Air Canada joins call to delay Canadian testing mandate

Air Canada joined other airlines and aviation organizations in calling on the Canadian government to delay imposing a COVID-19 testing requirement for incoming air passengers. “Minister, we have very serious concerns about the feasibility of successfully implementing such a significant measure in the extremely short time[frame] announced, without consultation or a coordinated plan,” they said in a letter to Transport Minister Marc Garneau.
