LitorAli Airlines (Brindisi) is an Italian start-up planning to launch scheduled flights between Italy and Albania on March 29, 2021. The virtual carrier is planning to serve Tirana from Brindisi (5x weekly) and Naples Capodichino (2x weekly) using a Let 410UVP-E20 chartered from Bulgaria’s Heli Air (HLR, Sofia). On its website, Litorali Airlines said it would add four ATR42s over the coming months. The Avions de Transport Régional turboprops will be based out of Brindisi, although the start-up did not reveal its network plans going forward. According to the ch-aviation PRO airports module, the only airline with a crew base at Brindisi airport is currently Malta Air, a subsidiary of Ryanair Holdings. Neither Brindisi nor Naples currently has scheduled links to Albania. The Bulgarian aircraft register shows Heli Air operates five Let 410UVP-E20s, as well as two Mi-8 Mil Helicopters. It offers passenger and cargo charters, UN humanitarian charters, and firefighting sorties.
