Eagle Hospitality Trust, owner of 18 US hotels, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as the pandemic continues to claim casualties. “This is an early indicator of the problems facing the hotel industry in 2021,” says Alan Reay of lodging market tracker Atlas Hospitality Group.
