Businesses are increasingly involved in issues of trade, diversity and climate change, says former EY CEO and government official Mark Weinberger, who previews what Congress and the Biden administration might accomplish. Businesses need to figure out how to serve stakeholders and society — and measure it — “because if the business community, institutional investors and CEOs don’t do it, the government could very well come in,” he says.
