An application to construct the London Resort theme park in Kent, England, has been accepted by the Planning Inspectorate for examination and now passes to the Secretary of State for a full validation and inquiry process, which will take up to 18 months. If approved, the $6.85 billion, 535-acre resort would feature a visitor center, two theme parks and more 3,500 hotel rooms.
