Under new federal rules requiring COVID-19 testing for all passengers on incoming international flights, tests have to be taken within three days and airlines must deny boarding without a negative result, which can be on a PCR test or antigen test. As airport testing programs and “health passport” apps evolve, it is up to passengers to research what is available, what specific destinations require, and the cost of options available to them, which can range from less than $100 to nearly $400.
