JetBlue cuts basic fares, reserves carry-on space for others

JetBlue is cutting the price of some “basic” fares, but passengers opting for the lowest price option will no longer be able to bring carry-on luggage. That paves the way for a new guarantee that travelers who purchase other ticket classes will find space for a bag in the overhead bins, and the airline is also making permanent complimentary rebooking for non-basic tickets.
