Deal will see cell site investments on Pebblebrook’s rooftops

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust and Melody Investment Advisors have struck an agreement in which Melody will invest in 14 rooftop cell sites at hotels and resorts owned by the REIT. The deal “positions us to generate additional revenue growth from a key, but underdeveloped, asset class that we have in our urban and resort lifestyle hotel portfolio: our rooftops,” according to Pebblebrook executives Max Leinweber and Jen Yager.
