US, Canada partner to lower aviation emissions

The US and Canada plan to coordinate policies on aviation and other modes of transportation with the shared goal of net zero emissions by 2050, according to a joint statement by US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Canadian Transport Minister Omar Alghabra. The two leaders are reaffirming their countries’ cooperation on transportation policies.
