Fla.’s Walt Disney World to celebrate 50th anniversary

Walt Disney World Resort will mark its 50th anniversary at its four theme parks in Orlando, Fla., with an 18-month celebration beginning Oct. 1. The celebration will include lighting enhancements to Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom, “Spaceship Earth” at Disney’s Epcot and the “Tree of Life” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
