Gerard Basset scholarships aim to diversify wine industry

The Gerard Basset Wine Education Charitable Foundation is partnering with Liquid Icons on launching The Golden Vines Diversity Scholarships, two awards for BIPOC students who wish to enroll in the Masters of Wine and Master Sommelier programs. The scholarships will cover the costs associated with taking the tests and the loss of earnings while enrolled in the classes, as well as provide opportunities to intern at prestigious wineries, like Dom Perignon, Chateaux d’Yquem and Domaine des Lambrays.
