Upscale hotel corraled by Texas stockyards redeveloper

A four-star hotel is scheduled to open today in a development with the unlikely name Mule Alley — an apt name nonetheless given the refurbished Fort Worth, Texas, Stockyards District where the complex is located. About $140 million has been invested in the Hotel Drover, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, and another $75 million in the Mule Alley retail and restaurant area.
