Report: Progress on board diversity remains slow

Data reviewed by BoardProspects shows that the number of publicly traded companies on the Russell 3000 index with a Black board member is still below one-third, although appointments of Black people to boards sped up after George Floyd was killed by police last year. “Clearly corporate boards still have a long way to go in terms of achieving racial diversity,” says Mark Rogers of BoardProspects.
