Biden administration backs sustainable aviation fuel credit

The Biden administration released the outline of a clean energy proposal that will replace unnamed tax breaks for the fossil fuel industry with incentives targeting cleaner energy, including a blender’s tax credit for sustainable aviation fuel. Nancy Young, vice president of environmental affairs at Airlines for America, praised the inclusion of the tax credit, which she said would boost demand for and production of sustainable fuel.
