Hyatt shares good news along with $304M Q1 loss

Hyatt Hotels reported a $304 million net loss for the first quarter, nearly three times that of the first quarter of 2020, but the company’s posture was upbeat. The results were better than expected and were brightened by room growth of 6.5%, while vaccinations and eased travel restrictions boosted business globally, Hyatt CEO Mark Hoplamazian said.
