Hotel action perked up in Q1, Booking reports

Hotel reservations made through Booking.com showed a sharp year-over-year increase in the first quarter, prompting words of cautious optimism from Booking Holdings Inc. CEO Glenn Fogel. However, revenue still dropped 50% from the previous year as Fogel noted that vaccinations globally are not matching a strong US pace.
