Hotel REITs are on recovery path after difficult year

Hotel REITs are recovering from the hard blow the recession delivered as vaccinations continue and government restrictions ease, opening the door to more leisure travel. “The good news is, it does seem like the worst part of the storm is over,” says Pebblebrook Hotel Trust CFO Raymond Martz. “Right now, it’s still raining hard and it’s windy, but you can start seeing the sun again.”
