Snapchat research reveals 41% of its Canadian and US users plan to participate in Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, 39% of US users want brands to publicly condemn anti-Asian hate crimes and 45% want brands to commit to supporting diversity. “While some businesses have been hesitant to support social movements in the past, for fear of alienating potential customers, now, increasingly, this is becoming an expectation for young consumers,” writes Andrew Hutchinson.
