Startup focuses on modular rooms for hotels, apartments

MiTek, a startup owned by Berkshire Hathaway, has entered a modular building partnership with Danny Forster & Architecture that will involve prefabricating rooms for hotels and apartment buildings and stacking them on-site. Modular building offers increased efficiency, but companies who specialize in it have struggled to generate profit.
