Study: Most COVID-19 cases caught by pre-flight tests
The University of Oxford researchers found that a trial testing program operated by American Airlines and British Airways caught more than 99% of positive COVID-19 cases before they boarded a plane. Of 600 passengers participating in the program, 1% tested positive in pre-travel testing and did not fly, while .4% of those who traveled tested positive on a follow-up test after arrival in the UK.
