Delta CEO anticipates return of business travel

Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian said the company expects “to be solidly profitable” in June and predicted that business travel will rebound in the fall, especially for smaller companies. Delta wants “to be the airline of choice in the midsize market for business,” Bastian said, adding: “That segment of business travel is actually a bit larger than the traditional large corporate travel segment, and it’s also held up the best in the pandemic.”
