A Delta A319-100 aircraft provided a unique perspective of the annular eclipse for a few dozen passengers this week. The flight followed a predetermined route by astronomer Glenn Schneider and showcased a view of the eclipse’s “ring of fire” from the aircraft’s right side. Numerous Delta teams were involved in coordinating the flight out of Minneapolis-St. Paul, including ACS, TechOps and In-Flight.
