Commerce secretary: $750M for travel, tourism coming

Travel and tourism are in line for a $750 million infusion from the US Department of Commerce, Secretary Gina Raimondo said at a recent virtual forum hosted by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. The event also featured an announcement by Brand USA CEO Chris Thompson that the promotional organization for international tourism soon will launch its first marketing campaign since the pandemic began.
