Southwest exec discusses business travel strategy

Selling tickets to business travelers through corporate travel management platforms is an important element of Southwest Airlines’ pandemic recovery plan, but the airline will continue with its current network strategy instead of shaping it to specifically target the business travel audience, said President Tom Nealon. “We’ve got the network, we’ve got the price points, we’ve got the frequencies,” he said, and “there is so much connectivity still to bring into the core network.”
