Black winemakers and vineyard owners in Oregon’s Willamette Valley are doing all they can to beat the odds and bring more people of color to the industry. One person leading the way is Newberg, Ore.-based Vidon Vineyard’s president, Tiquette Bramlett, the first Black woman appointed to lead a major winery in the US, who says that “[b]eing able to support and amplify each other is all in the name of the game.”
