Southwest flight attendant on the meaning of “Freedom One”

In celebration of Independence Day, Southwest Airlines asked flight attendant Jose Cruz, a military veteran, to share about what the airline’s “Freedom One” aircraft, which is decorated to honor service members and veterans, means to him. “It dawned on me that Freedom One was a dedication to a country I love, from a company I have longed admired even before I was an employee, recognizing my brothers and sisters in the military,” Cruz wrote.
