Hotel firm may be Deutsche Bank FX derivatives victim

The Palladium Group hotel chain co-owned by former Spanish Foreign Minister Abel Matutes Juan is included in Deutsche Bank’s internal probe of mis-sold complex foreign-exchange derivatives that may have hurt between 50 and 100 companies in Spain, sources say. “We have confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation and the scope of this investigation is still appropriate,” according to a statement issued by Deutsche Bank.
