Flight Centre Names Gianusso Chief Technology Officer

Flight Centre Travel Group has named Peter Gianusso global chief technology officer for the travel management provider’s corporate division. Gianusso’s new role is his first in the travel industry. He has more than 25 years of corporate technology experience, most recently as vice president of technology and transformation at Prudential Financial.

Based out of FCTG’s Americas headquarters in Montvale, N.J., Gianusso will be responsible for overseeing the central product platforms for the company’s FCM and Corporate Traveler travel management brands, including the global data, business rule and automation, traveler profile and API platforms, the company said.

FCM last month announced it would roll out a new proprietary technology platform in China, and since March has been touting a planned revamp of its global tech offering.
