Delta Air Lines is ramping up its hiring efforts, hoping to add 5,000 staff members to meet increasing travel demand. CEO Ed Bastian said the airline has already added 2,216 employees at its Atlanta base since Jan. 1, contributing to Georgia’s economic recovery.
