Hotel planned for iconic San Antonio broadcast site

A Sinclair Broadcasting investor group has secured preliminary city approval to build a 29-story mixed-use tower with hotel on the site of the landmark WOAI radio-TV building on the San Antonio River Walk. The 101-year-old building would undergo partial demolition along with restoration under the proposal.
