Atlas Air makes aircraft purchases to maintain capacity

Atlas Air announced that it will be purchasing eight Boeing 747-400 freighters to ensure capacity as air cargo volumes remain high. “Economic and supply chain conditions remain favorable for air cargo and our dedicated freighters,” Atlas CEO John Dietrich said. “This capacity, along with a tremendous team effort, contributed to our ability to enter into and extend long-term agreements with strategic customers,” Dietrich stated.
