American backs Stand Up to Cancer with donated miles

American Airlines is rewarding frequent flyers with miles in exchange for donating to Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), which will broadcast its seventh biennial fundraising special Aug. 21. To date, American and its customers have raised more than $10 million for SU2C to support innovative therapies, treatments and research for more than a dozen types of cancer.
