Aviation experts discuss rise in unruly passenger behavior

As the US closes in on almost 4,000 cases of unruly passengers on planes and passes $1 million in fines levied in 2021, Aviation Week’s Karen Walker explores the recent uptick in passenger disruptions onboard aircraft. Patricia Vercelli, senior vice president and general counsel of Airlines for America, joined a recent webinar from the International Aviation Club and noted that unruly passenger behavior “has gotten out of control in some ways.”
