Hotels rub-a-dub bathtubs out of their plans

Guests who enjoy the pampering presence of the hotel bathtub will find fewer and fewer of them as the amenity gives way to the quicker, more compact and safer stand-up shower. While reviewer Liz Langley says she’ll miss the luxury of the tub, industry sources note their use has declined steeply with guests.
