The popular hotel breakfast buffet has given way to pre-packaged meals, room service and other adaptations in the new contact-shy era, but signs are the amenity could return in some semblance of classic form. “Breakfast remains a crucial element of the guest journey, and while our guests have largely been understanding of the new options, they increasingly expect the return of our breakfast experiences,” says Chris DeRamo of IHG Hotels & Resorts.
