Hotels, green groups take global shot at food waste

The world’s top hotel chains are partnering with World Wildlife Fund and sustainability consultancy Greenview to employ the first comprehensive methodology for tracking and reducing food waste. The breakthrough grew from WWF’s long relationship with Hilton Hotels Corp., the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the Rockefeller Foundation.
